There is NO New Testament scripture supporting this yet there is no scripture undoing it either.

There are many Old Testament Prophets who foretold the return of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel.

The Prophet Malachi is the final Prophet of the Old Testament. He is often quoted about the Tithe. He is not often quoted for the rest of God's words through Him. He speaks to the Nation, the Place and the law. He speaks to the future without the Jewish People, Jewish Place (temple) and law. A Savior of every Nation, Jew and gentile who will worship him everywhere, and a new law written on our hearts not controlled by human hands.

Malachi 1:11

My name will be great among the (1)nations, from where the sun rises to where it sets. In every (2)place incense and pure(3) offerings will be brought to me, because my name will be great among the nations,” says the Lord Almighty.

So for now the spotlight is shared between the Jewish people and Nation.

Scripture quoted defending honoring                                Scripture sharing the spotlight between Gentiles and

wicked ways.” Also reference Genesis 22:18                              you are the people of God;

and Genesis 26:4

Romans 9:6-8

It is not as though God’s word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel. Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” In other words, it is not the children by physical descent (Jews)who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.

The blessing of Abraham has been shared with those who are descendants by birth and has been brought to a people who will obey and honor the Father. To honor the father, you will accept his son Jesus.

They Jews in Jerusalem obviously did not like this and attacked the Apostle Paul for speaking out about the People place and law.

Acts 21 27-28

They stirred up the whole crowd and seized him, (Apostle Paul) shouting, “Fellow Israelite s, help us! This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere against our (1) people and our (3)law and this (2)place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this holy place.”

The People

The Place                                                                           This leads to persecuting innocent unarmed people.

The Law

Paul was the lone voice at that time standing up to the false message the church was promoting. It eventually cost him his life.

Acts 22:3-4                                                        In defending himself Paul does not change his position.

“I am a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city. I studied under Gamaliel and was thoroughly trained in the law of our ancestors. I was just as zealous for God as any of you are today. I persecuted the followers of this Way to their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison

Who are God's people now? Who is his nation? What is his law?

Even in Jesus's time and with his own disciples, they were confused as to the relationship between Jesus and Jerusalem.

Luke 19:11 While they were listening to this, he went to tell them a parable, because he was near to Jerusalem and the people thought that the kingdom of God was going to appear at once

1Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

Romans 9:25-26

“I will call them ‘my people’ who are not my people, I will call her ‘my loved one’ who is not my loved one, (referring to Gentiles)

“In the very place where it was said to them(Gentiles), "You are not my people,’there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’

Romans 9:30-32

What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith; but the people of Israel, who pursued the law (People , Place Tithe) as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal. Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone(Jesus).

What happens if you live by one portion of the law?

Romans 10:5

Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: “The person who does these things will live by them.”

Living by one aspect of the law, (People ,Place, Law) requires full adherence to the law (People,Place, Law).

Galatians 3:10

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law. Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith

Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole. "He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Romans 10:12-13

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Galatians 3:7-8

Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham. Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you. So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

It is Abraham's blessing we have received.

Galatians 3:26-29

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Luke 11:28 "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it."    This is how you get blessed! You cannot add to the blessing. It is already complete.

What does Jesus say about Jerusalem?

Luke 19:41

As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.”

Mathew 37-39

Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’

Revelations 11:13

At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city (Jerusalem) collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

John 4 19-21

“Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.” “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

Here Jesus is revealing the location of future worship.

What is to come when he returns to the earth to reign? Obviously this has not happened yet.

The New Jerusalem Paul said brings freedom. That is where Jesus sets up his throne.

This is the city Paul revealed that brings freedom.

Luke 1 32

He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.

Revelations 3:12

The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Revelations 21:2

And I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, (what people?  not the Jews by birth but by faith) and he will dwell with them.

Revelations 21:10

And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

Hebrews 11:15-16

If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Hebrews 12:22-24

But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel

Hebrews 13 :14

For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.

The Apostle Paul, of all people, would have supported this Jerusalem if it was supposed to be. He was a Jew of Jews and they (the Jews) killed Paul because He corrected them (the Jews) over this issue.

The people, the place and the law.

Galatians 4: 21

Tell me, you who want to be under the law, are you not aware of what the law says? For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. His son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh, but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a divine promise.

These things are being taken figuratively: The women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. For it is written:

Be glad, barren woman, you who never bore a child; shout for joy and cry aloud, you who were never in labor;because more are the children of the desolate womanthan of her who has a husband.”

Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise. At that time the son born according to the flesh persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. But what does Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.” Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.

We are for now the holy nation, the chosen people. We are Abraham's seed and He heard the word and did what he was told. If we do the same then we are Abraham's seed and receive the blessing of Abraham.

Hebrews 6: 4-8

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

Paul faced this issue with the Galatians and dealt with it in great detail. He starts the conversation this way:

Galatians 1:6-9

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

Acts 21 27-28 They (Israelite's)stirred up the whole crowd and seized him, (Apostle Paul) shouting, “Fellow Israelite s, help us! This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere against our (1) people and our (3) law and this (2)place. And besides, he has brought Greeks into the temple and defiled this holy place.”

Acts 11:2 So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him and said, "You went into the house of uncircumcised men and ate with them.

Many of the new believers fell for this type of thinking and it eventually shipwrecked their faith.

Acts 11.1-18 The entire church was resisting anyone who was not of Jewish descent. God rebuked Peter for calling unclean what God now calls clean. You and I are clean because of Jesus Christ. No one is above or below that.  It is for whoever accepts the gift of right standing from God through Jesus.

Acts 15:5-15

Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses.”

The apostles and elders met to consider this question. After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: “Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe. God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

The whole assembly became silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul telling about the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them. When they finished, James spoke up. “Brothers,” he said, “listen to me. Simon, described to us how God first intervened to choose a people for his name from the Gentiles. The words of the prophets are in agreement with this.

Jesus warns about the outcome of Jerusalem

Luke 21:24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Daniel 11:33 Those who are wise will instruct many.  This is referring to end times in Jerusalem when the man of lawlessness rules.

There is one New Testament cripture that supports Jesus giving support to Jerusalem.

Acts 1:9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

This is taught by people to say that Jesus, since He ascended from Jerusalem, will come back to that Jerusalem when He returns.

It does not say that does that. It says in the same WAY!   Not the same place.

In fact Jesus said , "just as in the days of Noah so shall it be at the coming of the son of man."Noah lifted off from one location and returned to another. So I guess we still don't have a NEW Testament scripture.

Mathew 25 talks about the gathering of the Nations when ALL the Angels come with Him(Jesus). This does not happen at the rapture or during the 1000 year millennial reign with Christ. This happens at the end of the thousand years.

He gathers the nations. Then He speaks directly to people of those nations. Some teachers teach that He(Jesus ) is judging nations by how they treated Israel.

Mathew 25 14:46   NO Where in this scripture does it say Nations are being judged for how they treated Israel. In fact, quite the opposite is actually occurring.

Israel is being judged for how they treated Jesus.

Luke 19:41 As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, “If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.”

Strike three.  Any more…  There is not ONE scripture supporting Israel as God’s Nation.

Another Prophecy against the Nation of Isreal from the Book Of Daniel

Daniel 11: 29-33
At the appointed time he will invade the South again, but this time the outcome will be different from what it was before. Ships of the western coastlands will oppose him, and he will lose heart. Then he will turn back and vent his fury against the holy covenant. He will return and show favor to those who forsake the holy covenant.
“His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.
“Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered.

What is West of Jerusalem?   The US and Canada! You will notice that Israel does not resist Him. They do not know their God.
